Detectives follow up on reported cases of child abuse and all manner of sexual related crimes. These detectives work closely with the Department of Child and Family Services. Currently, there are two detectives assigned to work these cases. They receive a lot of specialized training in forensic interviewing techniques and proper procedure for dealing with children.

Police Officer Level 3 Choli Ence Detective choli.ence@sgcity.org Det. Choli Ence started in law enforcement in 2004. She currently works as a Detective in the investigations division. She also works as a firearms instructor, accident investigations team member, and a police training officer.
